Telephone Wire Ukhamba Bowl

This covered basket/bowl is based on the traditional covered Zulu Ukhamba or traditional beer basket. 

The baskets are handmade out of the multicolored, coated wires that run within telephone cable. These baskets are woven creating beautiful colorful, stylish shapes using different weaves and changes in weave direction to create patterns of spirals, reverse swirls and dots. It can be used as storage or decor.
